100 word review: Kiba Gaiden

It's entirely supplementary material for the original, while as a backstory for Kiba, it is mostly a bunch of exposition dumps and artsy animation rather than giving a legitimate backstory episode showing the descent into madness. I came out of this giving the same damn about Kiba that I did before watching it. That being said. I do like the way the special looks even its exposition dumps. But that's what this is, an exposition dump about Barago and by extension messiah that is there for fans who want to fill out more info on the lore of the series.
